The Hypex NC1200 based amplifier has the option to use a custom input buffer board with class A op amps that makes the Hypex NC1200 work to its fullest potential and create a mind-blowing musical experience. With our NC1200 Amplifier you have the option to choose our custom Apollon input buffer board built around Sonic Imagery 990 PRO OP Amps or Sparkos Labs SS2590 PRO op amps and Sparkos Labs regulators. The Apollon input buffer board is built using highest quality 1% metal film resistors and audiophile grade polystyrene capacitors, while the power is being conditioned with discrete voltage regulators made by Sparkos Labs.

i Recommand strongly the Hypex NC1200 DM from apollon amplifier, high end amplifier for a modest/low price. this amplifier is very transparent and very powerful, can drive easily low impedance speakers (1,6 ohms) without any problem (infinity kappa 9.2i) and let\’s those speakers sing impressively good.
The soundstage and spatialization is also super thanks to the double mono architecture i presume.

i think this amplifier can drive everything in the market.
I have paired it with a topping pre90 preamplifier, smsl su10 dac and ifi zen streamer (with usb to dac), the results are awesome, trebble isn\’t harsh every frequency is good and stay in place (the kappa has a setting buttons for midrange and trebble in the rear you can adjust and correct if necessary the trebble/midrange if a bit too much for example)
