The Apollon Audio PNC 1200 Dual Mono Amplifier is exceptionally fast, uncommonly clean, and exceedingly musical with articulated, deep, tight, and powerful bass. This is how the amplifier can be described in one sentence and we have accomplished that with using a linear power supply to power the highly acclaimed Weiss OP2-BP Op Amp that is incorporated on our custom input buffer board.

Exceptional Chassis Design
The chassis is executed in a very tasteful piano black color (available in pearl white, silver metallic and custom colours). It is spray painted rather than anodised since paint is a softer, more absorbent material. We also offer it in anodised finish if the client wishes.
A very special feature is the backlit glass plate with the engraved Apollon mark and the large heatsink that absorbs the heat from the NC1200 module and helps with keeping the amplifier module running on normal operating temperature even under high loads.

CAREFULLY CRAFTED LAYOUT AND DESIGN
The PNC 1200 amplifier is hand-built with highest precision using only highest quality components. To connect your speakers we use custom built Apollon Pure OFC Copper Binding Posts that are internally connected to the amplifier with Pure OCC 12AWG Copper Output Wire and soldered with silver solder. The input connectors are Neutrik high quality silver plated XLR sockets. The amplifier has a soft start function and it is turned on with a hidden push button switch on the bottom lid.
The dual amplifier contains two Hypex NC1200 modules coupled with our Apollon Audio PNC custom input buffer boards with the acclaimed Weiss OP2-BP Op Amps onboard. The PNC1200 stereo amplifier is powered with two SMPS Hypex power supplies boasting 1200 Watts of power each. The standby control module is powered with a low-voltage power supply unit.
Providing low ripple and ultra low noise power to the Weiss OP2-BP Op Amps is possible with our custom designed linear power supply with large Nichicon capacitors and Discrete Voltage Regulators that play a key role for ultra low noise and fast transient responses on our custom input buffer boards for the Hypex NC1200 based amplifier. They are responsible for improved low level listening ability, far superior 3D soundstage and high frequency details. The difference is mostly noticeable at higher volumes, where the clarity remains on higher levels and with ample details and dynamics even at low listening levels.
